What is the best time for a safari?
Early morning (6:00 AM) or late afternoon (3:00 PM) are the best times for animal activity and photography.
Do we need to book in advance?
Yes, especially during peak season (December to March and July to August) to ensure vehicle availability.
Are children allowed on the safari?
Absolutely! We provide family-friendly tours with trackers who enjoy teaching kids about wildlife.
What happens if it rains?
Our jeeps have overhead covers. Most animals are still active in light rain, but we monitor for severe weather safety.
How to Reach Us
From Ella / Thanamalwila
Follow the A11 highway towards Embilipitiya. The park entrance is located 12km from the Thanamalwila junction.
From Mirissa / Matara
Take the Southern Expressway to the Barawakumbuka exit, then follow the Embilipitiya-Udawalawe road.
